The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has announced Vision 2021 to build a digital Bangladesh and to make e-governance activities a reality in the country. In continuation of this reliable and information rich Khagrachari district portal has been implemented. All development programs of the state are implemented and coordinated through field administration. The important administrative institution of the field administration is the district administration and it is the focal point for carrying out and coordinating all the executive functions of the government at the district level. The role of district administration is very important in holding and fulfilling the aspirations of the common people of the country. Traditionally, the District Commissioner is the chief executive of a district. He, as the representative of the central government, implements and coordinates various government development programs undertaken at the district level. The most important administrative focal point at the district level is the District Commissioner's office, through which various developmental activities are implemented and coordinated. Revenue collection and land management, executive magistracy, control of law and order situation, treasury, local government activities, education, public examination, health services, national and local elections, protocol, mobile quota management etc. activities are carried out through the district administration.
